Last month I did something again completely different.
I was asked to attend Megaslam wrestling, hosted by Thornton Hall Country Park.
The brief was simple, capture the action, the crowd and the venue itself.
I shot a panorama from high above of the ring and lighting setup inside a used cowshed.
The Thornton Hall team did a great job clearing the animals and waste, leaving only a slight smell behind.
Thornton Hall had a lot of activities going on besides the wrestling, but a crowd soon started to gather around the ring in anticipation for the wrestlers.
Merchandise was available, with the Lucha libre masks and foam hands being popular.
The referee entered the ring, followed by the wrestlers. First up was a tag match against the good team and Team Nasty.
The bell rang and the action started, it was hard to keep up as the wrestlers threw each other around the ring, bouncing from rope to rope.
After the match, the kids got the chance to enter the ring and have their photo taken with the victors.
